About Legal Integrity
Built by someone who saw the problem from the inside.
After owning and running a law firm almost a decade, I saw how easy it was for unscrupulous attorneys to take advantage of clients. Legal Integrity exists to change that — by doing the vetting work so you don't have to.
NICK WILT, CEO
Founder, Legal Integrity
I spent more than ten years running a law firm. In that time, I saw the legal industry from the inside — the good and the bad. I watched clients come to us after being burned by attorneys who overpromised, underdelivered, or simply didn't have the experience they claimed.
The problem wasn't that good lawyers didn't exist. It was that most people had no reliable way to tell the difference. Referrals from friends only go so far. Online reviews can be gamed. Bar directories tell you who has a license — not whether they're actually trustworthy.
Legal Integrity is my answer to that gap. We review attorney case outcomes on PACER, verify license status, review disciplinary history, check malpractice records, and evaluate client feedback before any firm joins our network. When we refer you to a firm, it means something.

Valerie Wilt serves as Chief Financial Officer of Legal Integrity, overseeing the financial operations and strategic planning that allow the organization to operate independently — free from the conflicts of interest that compromise most referral services.
Her background in finance and operations ensures that Legal Integrity's model remains sustainable without relying on fees from the firms it vets. That independence is foundational to the integrity of every referral we make.

To give every person facing a legal issue access to attorneys they can trust — by doing the verification work that most people don't know how to do and don't have time for.
